FAQs
What is in a monthly training program?
Our monthly program features strength training and technique sessions programmed over a four-week cycle, followed by a deload week. Each month, climbers can expect tailored beginner and intermediate workouts focused on building strength, refining technique, and progressing steadily. Our structured approach, including expert guidance and a dedicated deload week, ensures optimal performance gains while minimizing the risk of overtraining.
Should I do the intermediate or beginner program?
Choosing between our intermediate and beginner programs will depend on your climbing experience and familiarity with strength training. If you're new to structured training or have limited experience with strength and conditioning, the beginner program is tailored to build foundational strength, improve technique, and develop fundamental climbing skills. For climbers with some training background looking to elevate their performance, the intermediate program offers more advanced exercises and techniques. It's designed to challenge you further and help you progress on tougher routes and boulders.
Start with the beginner program if you're uncertain, and transition to the intermediate program as you gain confidence and experience. The most important thing is finding a program that suits your goals and abilities. If you're still unsure or need guidance on program selection, feel free to reach out to our team.
What happens if I join mid-month?
If you join our program mid-month, don't worry! Our training cycles are designed to be flexible and accommodating. Each month, a new workout is released, and you will start the program wherever it is in the cycle when you join. Whether you start at the beginning of the month or midway through, you'll have access to all the resources and support you need to jump right into the training. Our goal is to help you progress and improve your climbing skills, regardless of when you join the program. If you have any questions or need assistance getting started, feel free to reach out to our team. We're here to support you on your climbing journey!
Is there a recommended schedule for completing the workouts and drills each week?
While there isn't a strict schedule you must follow, we recommend aiming to complete one strength training session and one technique session per week to maximize your progress. The flexibility of our program allows you to choose the days and times that best fit your schedule and preferences. Each session typically takes around 45 minutes to complete, making it easy to incorporate into your routine.
Can exercises be modified if I have a specific limitation?
Absolutely! We understand that every body is unique, and individual limitations may require modifications to certain exercises. If you have a specific limitation, we recommend reaching out to our team for personalized guidance. Our coaches can provide alternative exercises or modifications tailored to your needs, ensuring that you can still participate in the program safely and effectively.
Do I have access to a coach throughout the program?
Absolutely! We provide various avenues for communication with our coaches throughout the program. You'll have access to weekly Q&A sessions, a private Facebook group for community support, and direct communication via email or through the training app.
